What better way to spend a summers evening than with a wine tasting and supper at Sharpham vineyard.
Especially as we can celebrate Sharpham Estate Selection being chosen as the best English still white wine.
The evening will include a tour and tutorial in the vineyard, tasting of summers wines and a delicious supper in the vineyard café. One of our most popular bi-annual events so early booking is essential.

14th September………….it’s time to take Beaujolais seriously
2009 is considered possibly the best ever vintage for Beaujolais and the various villages have due to their terroir produced wines ranging from the light and juicy to an oak-aged complex Burgundian style. Simon Hore and myself being long-term (and often laughed at) Beaujolais lovers will conduct you through the Crus.

Our popular monthly tasting and tutorial in our shop followed by supper at the Brioche. This months subject will be “a vineyard tour from Porto to Barcelona”

17th November……………..winemakers supper with Matteo Ascheri
The charismatic Matteo makes wonderful wines in Piedmont, Italy and was a huge success when he last visited us nearly ten years ago. It will be a great pleasure to hear him talk about his wines and as a special treat we are very fortunate to be able to hold this event at one of the best restaurants in the region, Agaric at Ashburton.
Tasting and three course dinner £40 per head.
