Les Boules
Les Boules Rouge Vin de France is a blend of southern French grapes, a delicious blackcurrant-scented joie de vivre wine. It shows blackberry and bramble flavours, with a hint of raspberry; a spicy, perfumed, peppery blend that will pair well with a variety of foods.
Casttillo de Eneriz, Reserva, Navarra, Spain
Vic has a nose for wine, and given his Rioja estate already straddles the border of Rioja and Navarra, he thought adding a very good Navarra estate would be exciting. 18 months in barrel and a full 6 years in bottle make this a real cracker! Rioja without the name and price tag, made by a master of Rioja! This wine balances oaky character with fruitiness and hints of spice with a finish as lengthy as you would expect from a classic reserva.
Carmenere, Luis Felipe Edwards, Chile
Luis Felipe Edwards Lot 24 Carmenere red wine is juicy, ripe, dark plum, spice and hedgerow fruit. It is a great introduction to premium Carmenere, with the Rapel Valley being one of the best regions for this particular variety.
