Salentino DOC is situated in the heel of Italy, to the East of Puglia. Here it gets very hot and is the perfect climate for producing rich, full-bodied red wines. This is a great example of how traditional wine styles meeting modern winemaking. With this in mind, this wine is suitable for vegans. Expect a deep-coloured, juicy red, full of ripe red fruit and well-integrated tannins.

Pinotage, Hazy View, South Africa

Warm berried fruit with smoky and coffee hints, this is a modern expression of South Africa's signature grape.

Sauvignon Blanc, Drostdy Hof, South Africa

Full yet elegant with bramble fruit aromas, cassis and black cherry flavours on the palate and a touch of white pepper spice (more in the northern Rhone mould than Barossa brawn) - structure provided by fine tannins with a long rich, ripe finish.

Cuvee Jean Paul, Rouge Vaucluse, France

This French red blend is from the wine heavens rich and complex balanced with fruit, spice and hints of truffle. Sanvigilio Chardonnay, IGT Trevenezie wine is a great example of North Italian Chardonnay - this unoaked style is fresh with appealing varietal characters. Fresh, fruity aromas with notes of Golden Delicious apples, citrus and tropical fruits. On the palate the wine is ripe with good texture and richness, balanced by crisp acidity.

Araldica Piemonte Cortese is a great value, zesty dry white. Fresh, primary fruit aromas of green apples, ripe grapefruit and lime cordial on the nose with lightly honeyed, lemony notes on the palate. The finish is fresh and crisp with citrus flavours and mineral touches.

Montepulciano D’Abruzzo, Ancora, Italy

Ancora Montepulciano d'Abruzzo wine has plenty of fruit balanced by structure and a supple body - proper food wine! Immediate red cherry fruits spring out of the glass, along with aromas of plum, juicy fresh cherries and subtle spices. The palate is fresh and bright displaying red fruit and blackberry flavours, herbal notes, a plump texture and chocolate notes on the finish.
