Description
Dark rich purple in colour with inviting nose of black fruits, gently spices, figs. Soft approachable tannins but full-bodied red packs a great punch.
This wine is more Roussillon than Languedoc and displays the true typicity of these wines in the depth of Perpignan, southern France. The family history is as impressive as the wine and dates back 28 generations to 1485, when the Jonqueries de Oriola family started growing vines. Famous Olympic equestrian riders of the 1920s the family know how to do things in style and this wine oozes bucket loads of that, ably assisted by the warmth of the Mediterranean sun.
